Spring Fashion Trends 2023

Wear Art is the theme!

To say I am excited about the 2023 Spring trends is an understatement, and in this post I will be highlighting 5 major trends that I am really looking forward to seeing uniquely styled overall.

CLOTHING

BAGGIER JEANS/PANTS

For anyone (like myself) who has wide shoulders and less defined hips, this is a great way to add more volume to the bottom half of your look. Low-rise seems to be making a big come back which I am genuinely not mad about. There are so many fab options for this trend, ranging from cargo style to simple classics, so we are all bound to find something that works for our individual selves.

Designs from brands such as Etro and Vetements delivered this on the runway in their Spring/Summer 2023 collections:

OVERSIZED BLAZERS

This is a trend that will most likely never go out of style. Blazers are a must-have in your closet, and if you've been following me for a while you know how much I love them. They are the perfect item of clothing to take a look from day to night; casual to formal - it's a classic piece that I highly recommend. So if you don't have one yet, this is your time to experiment and have fun with it!

Roksanda, Stella McArtney, Lanvin and Dries Van Noten all shared their unique oversized blazer designs on the runway in their Spring/Summer 2023 collections:

TAILORED SUITS

The crisp, simple and classic suits are still going strong this spring!

Tailored suits have evolved from the more strict, heavily structural look to a more relaxed form making it an easier go to for a quick elevated look!

Daniel W. Fletcher, Peter Do, and Michael Kors gave us their individual takes on the Tailored Suit in their Spring/Summer 2023 collections:

OVERSIZED BAGS

Big bags are back!

I am the girl who carries a lot of "just in case" items in her purse, so I need a big bag.

Glad designers are catching on to how much space in a bag the average woman needs on a daily. So I hope y'all still have your maxi purses and totes.

Vivetta, Bottega Veneta, Long Champ and Marc Jacobs styled their models with oversized bags, ushering in the new era in their Spring/Summer 2023 collections:

SCULPTURAL JEWELRY

Wear Art is the theme!

Schiaparelli has definitely inspired many designers in this category through the House's sculptural clothing and accessory pieces, ushering us into the age of bold and unique everyday jewelry pieces.

We saw this in the styling of models in the Schiaparelli, Balmain and Giambattista Valli Spring/Summer 2023 runway collections:

Yes, spring is finally springing and I, for one, am ready to experiment and have fun with these trends.

Wear Art is really the theme!

Let me know which trends you're most excited for!
